Key Responsibilities
• Handle federal tax matters, including transactional tax and tax controversy work
• Support renewable energy financing transactions and tax structuring
• Advise on mergers and acquisitions, fund formations, and corporate finance transactions
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on complex deals
• Conduct detailed legal research and analysis on federal tax issues
• Manage multiple projects while maintaining high-quality work product

Qualifications
• 3–5 years of experience as a Tax Associate Attorney in a law firm environment
• Strong background in federal tax law, including transactional tax matters
• Experience with mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance transactions
• Familiarity with renewable energy financing or tax credits preferred
• Admission to a State Bar required (Oregon Bar preferred or ability to waive in)
• Excellent written, analytical, and communication skills
