Our holistic model also extends assistance to shelter, energy, weatherization, HIV and AIDS counseling, home visits, and mobile medical/dental clinics.Explore our short clips, " WE are Yakima - WE are Family " and " YVFWC - And then we grew ," for a glimpse into our dedication to our communities, health, and families.Visit our website at www.yvfwc.com to learn more about our organization.This is a temporary position with an estimated start date of 04/01/26 and an end date of 10/01/26.What We Offer $53.78- $66.55 per hour DOEAdditional pay for bilingual skills, paid on hours workedWhat You'll Do: Maintain patient medical records, update patient medical history and vital signs as neededConduct patient X-ray procedures and store X-raysComplete periodontal charting and prepare tools for Provider examsPerform preventative periodontal care and assist with restorationsAdminister local anesthesia and nitrous oxideProvide oral hygiene education and formulate treatment plansSupport infection control program and provide input for clinic efficiency improvementsMay participate in the development, implementation, and coordination of dental education programs provided inside and outside the organizationPerform clinical responsibilities in alignment with TJC, HRSA, and org requirementsPerform other duties as assignedQualifications: Graduation from a Dental Hygiene schoolActive OR State Dental Hygiene licenseOR: Dental Hygiene License with Restorative Function EndorsementCPR certification within 90 days of hireBilingual (English/Spanish) preferred at level 10Knowledge of standard dental practices and current hygiene conceptsSkilled in dental anesthesia and restorative proceduresAbility to interact professionally with patients and colleagues of all agesEffective time management and resource utilization to efficiently complete work within set deadlinesHigh level of dexterity and coordinationBasic proficiency with Electronic Dental Records, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and ExcelOur Mission Statement"Together we transform our communities through compassionate, individualized care, eliminating barriers to health and well-being."Our mission celebrates inclusivity.
