The Role
As a senior member of the commercial team, your role is to increase revenue, create business opportunities, and build relationships with clients across key accounts, while creating, converting, and sustainably scaling new direct-to-brand and agency opportunities.
Working in partnership with prospects and clients, you will proactively propose solutions that deliver impact and value.
In accordance with the company's taxonomy of services, you will establish product-market fit within target sectors and identify commercially viable opportunities.
You will develop a business development plan focused on both growing existing accounts through an account-based marketing approach and establishing new business relationships with brands and agency partners aligned with the company's service mix and solutions.
You will research, engage with prospects, and respond to their pain points with solutions designed to deliver sustained revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Exercise a strong commercial mindset to deliver against account growth targets.
- Develop a strong pipeline of viable opportunities, both direct-to-brand and agency-led.
- Actively map and develop key account targets and identify genuine product-market fit for content and experiential service lines.
- Maintain relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts.
- Partner with external business development and lead generation partners to identify new business targets and develop outbound sales approaches.
- Act as a strategic, consultative partner who understands target brands and agencies deeply, developing roadmaps for continued partnership and success.
- Adopt smart, targeted outreach strategies to build lasting and trusted stakeholder relationships.
- Support day-to-day production operations for clients, ensuring hands-on support and partnership before, during, and after production.
- Prioritize new opportunities based on customer lifetime value, cost of acquisition, and profitability.
- Seek opportunities to solutionize, productize, upsell, and cross-sell the company's service offering.
- Customize existing collateral and create compelling proposals tailored to client needs.
- Familiarize yourself with relevant case studies and previous work that demonstrate successful sector-specific solutions.
- Manage prospects and proposals through the full sales lifecycle, from scoping and negotiation through to deal closure.
- Follow established sales and production processes and utilize budget calculator tools to prepare draft project estimates.
- BANT-qualify opportunities before engaging production teams and structure briefs clearly around budgets, deliverables, quality expectations, quantities, and timelines.
- Utilize Statements of Work (SOWs) alongside estimates to secure marketing permissions and embargo dates where required.
- Participate in daily huddles to communicate priorities, highlight concerns, and provide updates on new opportunities.
- Maintain accurate CRM workflows to ensure full visibility of sales activity and performance tracking.
- Travel for sales meetings and relationship-building activities when appropriate.
Strategic Responsibilities
- Further embed and grow key account relationships through contracted and retained revenue streams.
- Conduct targeted research into macro and micro trends that align with the company's services and create commercial opportunities.
- Build and maintain a network of industry contacts and referral partnerships.
- Establish a visible presence within target sectors through networking events, trade shows, webinars, trade association memberships, and key account events.
- Stay up to date with technology and industry trends to remain a trusted advisor and source of insight for stakeholders.
- Provide ongoing feedback to leadership regarding evolving client needs and implications for the company's proposition.
- Attend and present at industry events, sharing insights into business pain points, solutions, and relevant case studies.
- Build a strong professional presence on LinkedIn and relevant industry platforms through targeted thought leadership content, including articles and blog posts.
