About the Role

The Senior Financial Analyst – FP&A will lead budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and business intelligence initiatives across the organization. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys digging into data, building actionable reporting, and partnering cross-functionally to improve business performance.

The position reports directly to the VP of Finance and will have significant exposure to senior leadership.

Key Focus Areas:

• Financial modeling & strategic analysis
• Forecasting & budgeting
• Power BI dashboard development
• KPI reporting & executive storytelling
• Cross-functional partnership with Operations, Sales, and IT

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes
• Perform monthly variance analysis and financial performance reporting
• Build and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards and reporting tools
• Develop strategic financial models and scenario analyses
• Analyze large datasets from ERP and laboratory systems
• Evaluate revenue trends, testing volumes, margins, and COGS
• Partner with operational leaders to improve forecast accuracy and efficiency
• Present actionable financial insights to executive leadership

Qualifications

Required:

• 4–7 years of FP&A, corporate finance, or highly analytical finance experience
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
• Strong Power BI experience (DAX, visualization, dashboarding)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

Preferred:

• MBA or CFA
• Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning, Vena, or other EPM tools
• Healthcare, biotech, or diagnostics industry experience is nice to have
