It spans the company in terms of crafting a strategic viewpoint on Autodesk's role in helping people imagine, design, and make a better world.ResponsibilitiesFormulate and communicate a strategic point of view on the future of architecture, engineering, construction, manufacturing, and entertainment as input to Autodesk's technical and business strategyDesign and execute quantitative and qualitative research to inform Autodesk's understanding of current technological, political, environmental, and socioeconomic trendsInterpret insights from diverse reports and datasets to extract actionable strategic intelligenceInfluence strategic decision making in the form of workshops, presentations, compelling narratives, and deep one-on-one professional relationships with senior leadersCollaboratively author a variety of materials that communicate complex ideas in a clear and highly impactful wayMinimum QualificationsMasters, MBA or PhD degree, and 5 years of work experience in strategic foresight, future studies, data journalism, data analysis in the social sciences, or related fieldWorking knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research tools and methodologiesOutstanding interpersonal skills to build strong relationships throughout the organizationImpactful, polished and adaptable communicator – written, visual and verbalDemonstrated ability to drive projects to completionStrong work ethic and commitment to making a positive impactFamiliarity with the challenges and opportunities of the software industryThe Ideal CandidateYou think strategically and you are adept at deriving business value from strategic explorationYou're a visionary and you know how to shape ideas in a way that informs or persuadesYou're a trusted collaborator and you value other points of view, different approaches to solving problems, and tapping into deep expertise inside and outside the company to change your mindRemote work allowedAt Autodesk, we're building a diverse workplace and an inclusive culture to give more people the chance to imagine, design, and make a better world.
