About the Role

The Company is seeking an Assistant Vice President for Construction Project Management to lead and oversee multifamily and mixed-use construction projects from initiation to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, efficiency, and timely delivery of projects, while also managing budgets, contracts, and documentation to meet compliance and operational excellence standards. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, utilizing advanced project management tools, and providing leadership and mentorship to team members. The AVP will also contribute to the development of project scopes, drive deadlines across multiple projects, and maintain proactive communication with stakeholders.Applicants must have an associate degree or equivalent experience in construction management or a related field, with a minimum of 7 years' experience in managing multifamily and mixed-use projects. Proficiency in project management tools, including Procore and CPM scheduling, and Microsoft Office applications is required. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in contract negotiation, budgeting, and subcontract administration, as well as the ability to read and interpret construction plans and technical reports. Effective leadership, mentoring, and organizational skills are essential for this role, which demands a detail-oriented individual capable of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
