About the Role

The Company is seeking a Managing Director for Technical Assistance and Consulting. This senior leadership role is pivotal in building, scaling, and operationalizing a national technical assistance and consulting platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full lifecycle of technical assistance, from business development to delivery, and will play a key role in systems-building to support the goal of enabling a significant number of disability-forward homes by 2030. The role requires a strong working knowledge of affordable housing systems, extensive experience in engaging external partners, and a proven track record in managing complex engagements. The Managing Director will also be expected to lead a team, foster a high-performing culture, and collaborate cross-functionally to align technical assistance with the organization's broader strategy.Applicants for the Managing Director position must have a Bachelor's degree, with an advanced degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience. Essential skills include the ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels, strong communication, and the capacity to represent the organization externally. Experience in consulting, technical assistance, or advisory environments is highly valued, as is a background in business development and a familiarity with housing policy, advocacy, or systems change efforts. The role is remote with a national scope, and the candidate should be prepared for approximately 10-12 trips annually. The ideal candidate will have a passion for inclusive design principles and a commitment to the mission of the organization.
