About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to play a pivotal role in the organization's strategic and financial leadership. The CFO will be a key partner to the CEO and Executive Team, responsible for defining and executing the financial strategy to ensure the long-term financial health of the enterprise. This includes overseeing all financial domains, from financial planning and analysis to real estate and facilities management, and serving as the primary liaison to the Board on financial matters. The successful candidate will be a people-centered leader, championing excellence, and will be expected to bring a strong business orientation, a proven track record in financial management, and experience in modernizing financial systems and processes.Professional experience and qualifications for the CFO position at the company include significant senior executive experience as a financial leader, ideally in large nonprofits, health, or mission-driven enterprises. The role requires a leader with a strong background in investment strategy and portfolio management, as well as expertise in financial risk management, and a proven ability to lead organizations through financial uncertainty and operational transformation. The ideal candidate will be a decisive, accountable leader, with a people-centered, collaborative, and adaptive leadership style, and a deep alignment to the mission of the organization. A bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for an advanced or terminal degree, and a passion for mission-driven work, particularly in the field of cancer or large nonprofit organizations, is strongly preferred.
