About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of People to spearhead the development and implementation of a comprehensive people strategy. This pivotal role involves building the HR function from the ground up, designing and executing onboarding, training, and development programs, and owning the hiring strategy for new openings. The successful candidate will be a key partner to senior leadership, ensuring that each new venue is launched with the right teams, training, and standards in place. Additionally, the role includes improving performance, retention, and team engagement, as well as establishing clear processes for employee relations, compliance, and workplace standards to support a strong, consistent culture across the business.Candidates for the Vice President of People position at the company should have a strong HR leadership background within hospitality, restaurants, leisure, or multi-site environments. Proven experience in building people systems and teams in a growing or changing business is essential, as is the ability to confidently handle compliance and employee relations in the US market. The ideal candidate will be a practical, hands-on operator who is a strong communicator and can build trust quickly across all levels. Comfort in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where agility and adaptability are key is also a must.
