About the Role

This strategic role is pivotal in managing and reviewing legal work across the organization, particularly in the areas of reproductive and gender rights, economic justice, and immigrant rights. The successful candidate will be a seasoned public interest lawyer with a J.D. and active bar membership, bringing over 15 years of experience, including impact civil litigation. Key responsibilities include legal practice and quality oversight, workflow and project management, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership. The Deputy Chief will also be involved in external representation and is expected to have a strong commitment to economic, racial, gender, and environmental justice.Applicants for the Deputy Chief of Programs position at the company should have a deep expertise in civil rights law, exceptional project management skills, and a proven ability to lead high-priority initiatives.
