Accounts Payable Specialist Location: Camas, WA Schedule: Onsite Compensation: $25-$28/hour DOE Type: Contract to Hire About the Opportunity CV Resources is partnering with a well-established, globally recognized manufacturing organization to identify an Accounts Payable Specialist for a temp-to-hire engagement. This role is critical in supporting day-to-day AP operations during a medical leave and is best suited for someone who is highly detail-oriented, dependable, and thrives in a fast-paced, transactional environment. Key Responsibilities Process a high volume of invoices, including matching to receipts, system entry, and routing for approvals Investigate and resolve vendor inquiries and invoice discrepancies in collaboration with purchasing and receiving teams Support full-cycle accounts payable functions, including: Payment run preparation Approval workflows (DocuSign) Check printing, ACH, and wire processing Maintain accurate digital filing and documentation of AP records Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations Identify and support process improvement initiatives within AP workflows Provide general accounting and administrative support to the finance team as needed Qualifications 1–2 years of data entry and/or strong Excel experience required Prior accounts payable or general accounting experience preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision Authorized to work in the United States Ideal Candidate Highly reliable and consistent with strong attendance Tech-savvy and quick to learn new systems and tools Thrives in a structured, high-volume processing environment Takes ownership of work and can step in with minimal training About CV Resources CV Resources is a specialized recruiting firm connecting top accounting, finance, and HR professionals with leading organizations across the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
