Mulberry Talent is partnering with a Portland-rooted retail brand with nearly 50 years of history.
They are looking for a hands-on Multi-Site General Manager to help lead the next chapter of growth. Built around beautifully curated kitchen, home, and furniture essentials, the company has evolved from a beloved kitchen destination into a full home lifestyle retailer.
What do they need in a leader? Someone who loves being close to the business - in stores, occasionally in the warehouse, and with the team - someone who thrives in a fast-moving, highly visible role where no two days look the same.
This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing four retail locations, warehouse operations, and e-commerce. You'll spend meaningful time in the field, ensuring execution is strong, customers are having great experiences, and teams are set up to succeed.
This role blends strategy and execution: You'll set direction, but you'll also be close enough to see what's really happening and jump in when it matters.
What You'll Own:
Leading the Business: You'll own performance across stores, warehouse, and eComm, driving growth, profitability, and operational excellence while keeping teams aligned and focused.
Running Great Operations: You'll ensure strong day-to-day execution across all locations, from customer experience to merchandising & buying, to staffing, scheduling, and fulfillment. You'll be close enough to the work to see issues early and help solve them.
Driving Results (and Understanding the Numbers): You'll own the full P&L and use it as a decision-making tool to manage revenue, margins, expenses, and forecasts with a focus on sustainable growth.
Making Product & Marketing Work Together: You'll partner with buying, merchandising, and marketing teams to ensure strong assortment, compelling product presentation, and effective promotions that drive traffic and conversion.
Building Great Teams
Keeping the Engine Running Smoothly: You'll oversee the operational backbone: Systems, facilities, and processes, ensuring the business runs efficiently.
