Plumbing Project Manager / Estimator

A growing and highly respected mechanical services company is seeking an experienced Plumbing Project Manager / Estimator to support commercial plumbing projects throughout the Portland Metro area and surrounding regions.

This role is ideal for someone who understands commercial plumbing systems, enjoys estimating and project coordination, and wants to join a company with strong market presence, steady work, and long-term career growth opportunities.

The ideal candidate does not necessarily need to be a licensed plumber but should have experience estimating, coordinating, or managing commercial plumbing projects and repair work.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare bids and estimates for commercial plumbing projects
  • Manage projects from bid award through completion
  • Coordinate with field crews, vendors, subcontractors, and customers
  • Handle budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, and project tracking
  • Support repair work, retrofit projects, repipes, and new commercial construction
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships
  • Review plans and specifications to ensure accurate bidding

  • Apartment and mixed-use developments
  • New commercial construction
  • Tenant improvements and repair work

Qualifications

  • Experience in plumbing estimating, project management, or commercial plumbing operations
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Organized and detail-oriented approach to project management
  • Field experience in plumbing or mechanical trades highly preferred
  • Valid driver's license required

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive base salary + performance-based earning potential
  • $115,000 with variable compensation at 3% of estimated/collected revenue.
