Structural Engineering Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineering Professional to join our design team. In this role, you will play a key part in performing structural analysis and design across a variety of projects. Location: Remote (Must be based in U.S. Northwest Region or Canada) You will collaborate closely with Structural Leads, Engineers, Designers, and cross-functional teams to develop design concepts, execute engineering solutions, and ensure accurate documentation within design models.

This position offers strong growth potential, including opportunities to lead medium-sized projects or support larger initiatives as a Sub-Lead.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform structural analysis and design with minimal supervision
  • Apply sound engineering judgment in evaluating and selecting appropriate techniques and procedures
  • Execute lateral analysis and design (wind & seismic) in compliance with building codes
  • Ensure high-quality deliverables through detailed self-checks and peer reviews
  • Review and validate calculations completed by other engineers
  • Manage workload, timelines, and deliverables to meet project schedules and budgets
  • Define scope, estimate effort, and proactively identify scope changes
  • Collaborate across disciplines to ensure integration of structural design
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and designers
  • Contribute to improving workflows, tools, and adoption of new technologies

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Structural emphasis)
  • Professional Engineer (PE or PEng) license
  • 10+ years of structural engineering experience
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. building codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC)
  • Experience with structural analysis software, Navisworks, and Bluebeam
  • Expertise in steel and concrete structural design
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Structural Engineering
  • Structural Engineer (SE) license
  • Experience in semiconductor or industrial facility design
  • Experience leading teams or managing projects
