This position is responsible for working within the framework of the interdisciplinary team approach to provide residents with medications and direct care as directed by the licensed nurse in charge of the floor. This includes assisting with dietary and environmental needs as needed./ppThis is an On-Call role working at Our House in SE Portland. Starting pay is $25.06 hr./ppWho You Are/pulliEducation Experience At least 1 year experience with caregiving or other healthcare-related experience/liliAbility to pass DHS background check./liliPrior experience passing medications./liliA strong understanding of issues relevant to people living with HIV, communities of color, and the LBGTQ+ community and how those issues affect or influence service delivery./li/ulpWhat Youll Do/pulliResponsible for administration of medications as directed by the Licensed Nurse in accordance with Physician Orders, State Regulations and the Nurse Practice Act./liliMaintains accurate records of medications provided or omitted, including controlled substances, in each residents Electronic Medication Administration Record./liliProvides direct resident care while promoting the residents dignity, independence and choice./liliPerforms other duties as assigned./li/ulpAt Cascade AIDS Project, we believe in unlocking potential.
