The successful candidate will have a senior leadership background in credit and portfolio risk, with a strong foundation in commercial underwriting and credit policy governance. They must demonstrate sound judgment with nontraditional borrowers, special assets experience, and a collaborative approach to integrating with various teams.Key responsibilities for the CCO include establishing and maintaining loan policies, underwriting standards, and internal controls to support strategic growth while safeguarding asset quality. The role also involves overseeing portfolio monitoring, managing special assets, and ensuring compliance with regulatory expectations.
