This role also ensures the accuracy of customer requests and on-time delivery.WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH* Efficiently utilizes the ERP system to create customer orders, confirm and apply pricing, answer inquiries, and follow up on order status.* Review inventory and future production plans to determine product availability while driving to meet customer-requested availability dates.* When inventory is available, release orders for shipment by communicating with the customer, shipping team, or transportation carriers.* Advises customers of order status at multiple phases of order fulfillment as needed, especially when special handling is required.* Develop and maintain deep knowledge of company-manufactured and ancillary roofing products and the roofing industry to provide customers with comprehensive, accurate information and advice.* Listens to the customer's needs and concerns, demonstrates empathy, and uses critical thinking skills to solve situations.* Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments and areas.
