Triple Oak Power is seeking a Senior Director, Development to lead regional strategy and organizational execution across the Western United States. Operating at the intersection of executive leadership and hands-on portfolio oversight, you'll shape the region's development direction, build and lead a team of developers, and represent TOP at the highest levels with partners, agencies, investors, and industry stakeholders. This role is designed for a seasoned development executive who brings deep market knowledge, organizational leadership experience, and the credibility to drive complex projects and partnerships in a competitive and evolving energy landscape.

What You'll Do

• Define and drive regional development strategy across the Western U.S., shaping portfolio priorities, resource allocation, and market positioning in alignment with company objectives.
• Lead and develop a team of developers, building organizational capability, establishing performance expectations, and fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
• Oversee the full regional project portfolio from early-stage opportunity evaluation through permitting, agreements, and pre-construction readiness, ensuring projects advance with credibility and commercial integrity.
• Serve as TOP's senior representative with landowners, permitting agencies, utilities, state and federal regulators, community leaders, and strategic partners; build and sustain the relationships that underpin regional market access.
• Present regional strategy, portfolio performance, and investment recommendations to executive leadership, the Board, and investment committees; guide the evaluation of key agreements and strategic transactions.
• Set standards for project execution, consultant oversight, and cross-functional collaboration across the region; ensure that development workflows, documentation, and quality practices meet organizational and regulatory expectations.
• Identify and respond to emerging regulatory, market, and competitive dynamics; translate regional intelligence into strategic adjustments that protect the portfolio and position TOP for long-term growth.
• Partner with executive leadership to define organizational priorities, contribute to company-wide development practices, and support the recruitment and development of top talent across the regional team.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, environmental science, or a related field; advanced degree strongly preferred.
• Ten or more years of professional experience, including five or more years in renewable energy or infrastructure development, with demonstrated leadership of regional or multi-project development portfolios.
• Proven experience leading teams of directors and senior professionals, with a track record of building high-performing organizations and developing leadership capability at multiple levels.
• Executive-level communication and relationship management skills, with experience representing organizations at investment, regulatory, and community forums and driving alignment across complex stakeholder environments.
• Deep familiarity with development processes across Western U.S. markets, including permitting frameworks, interconnection dynamics, land strategy, and regulatory trends.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 35%, including to project sites; authorization to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
