The position is primarily onsite and can work out of our corporate office in Vancouver, WA. Position Description: The Human Resources Administrator supports the general administration of team member plans for our organization, while providing administrative support for HR functions including generalist activities in HR, employee relations, recruiting, performance management, and coaching and development. The Human Resources Administrator also serves as a key individual who supports policy administration, HRIS data entry, reporting, and system maintenance. As a member of our support team working in partnership with our teams in the field, a service mindset and a focus on solutions are essential to this position. Responsibilities: Maintain and update employee records in HR systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal and company policies Create team member profiles, process new hires, separations, and status changes in our HRIS (UKG) Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires and offboarding tasks for departing employees Provide timely and accurate responses to team members at all levels of the organization relating to HR matters Update and maintain team member electronic personnel files Monitor, correct, and process workflow submissions through UKG Provide general administrative support to the HR department, including handling correspondence, preparing reports, and organizing files Track and ensure compliance with I9 processing for team members throughout the organization Complete state benefit and pay verification forms Conduct various HR audits including but not limited to minimum wage, I9 compliance, PTO accrual, and team member status Serve as a backup to other areas of HR and support all members of the HR team on key deliverables and day to day activities Qualifications: Excellent customer service skills and ability to manage difficult and stressful situations. Strong communication skills – written, verbal, persuasion, motivation, facilitation of strong working relationships. Proven critical thinking and good judgment. Ability to manage business expectations and resolve concerns, by communicating status and issues. Ability to effectively prioritize and escalate issues as necessary. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: At least 1 year of business administration experience is required, preferably in HR Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Familiarity with HR software and databases (e.g., HRIS, ATS) Excellent organizational and time-management skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills High level of confidentiality and integrity Ability to work independently and as part of a team Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities Pay Range: $25 - $27 per hour Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
