Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Project Coordinator (Entry Level) for a Contract assignment with one of our premier Automotive clients in Portland, OR.
Position Summary
This role supports the Aftermarket Supply Chain organization in driving parts sales growth and operational improvements through innovative, cross-functional initiatives. The position contributes to projects that enhance supply chain performance, focusing on optimizing delivery lead times, reducing costs, and enabling scalable growth.
Working within an agile, cross-functional environment, this role supports the execution of the strategic supply chain roadmap by assisting with project management, continuous improvement efforts, and innovation initiatives. The position plays a key role in analysis, reporting, stakeholder communication, and enabling data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Support project management activities, tools, and processes across supply chain initiatives.
- Assist in continuous improvement efforts tied to supply chain performance and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to business case development, internal presentations, analysis, and reporting for strategic initiatives.
- Gather and analyze information to support decision-making within innovation and project teams.
- Co-develop project management tools, metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Track KPIs and assist in monitoring project budgets and financial performance.
- Prepare and deliver presentation materials for stakeholders and leadership.
- Participate in project meetings and workshops, including preparation and follow-up actions.
- Lead or support communication efforts to improve awareness and alignment across business units.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience (or 4 years of equivalent experience in lieu of a degree).
- Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Sound judgment and a proactive, self-driven approach to work.
- Strong verbal communication skills, including the ability to handle sensitive or complex communications.
- Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to adapt quickly in a changing environment.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn new concepts and approaches.
- Strong interpersonal and computer skills.
