Staff Accountant (Contract / Potential Temp-to-Hire) Location: Happy Valley, OR (Onsite) Compensation: Up to $35/hour DOE Type: Contract with potential temp-to-hire opportunity CV Resources is partnering with a well-established nonprofit organization seeking a Staff Accountant to join its accounting team immediately. Responsibilities Review Accounts Payable coding and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance Review credit card transactions and related expense documentation Process and post cash receipts Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end accounting activities Support general ledger maintenance and account reconciliations Assist with various accounting and compliance-related projects as needed Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Equivalent accounting experience (5 years) will also be considered Prior Staff Accountant or similar accounting experience required Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Nonprofit accounting experience is preferred Why Consider This Opportunity?
