SQA Engineering Contractor Job Description

**This Sr. SQA Engineer is expected to come onsite 5 days a week in Beaverton, OR**

Essential Functions:

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to understand product expectations
• Test application (GUI) software in conjunction with networked audio/media systems running embedded software
• Executes test automation and manual tests
• Test interaction scenarios with finished hardware devices
• Create and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Maintain internal QA-specific information systems to track quality assurance metrics (bug tracking, test servers)
• Verify defect fixes, including testing of appropriate related areas
• Reproduces, debugs, and isolates problems and verify fixes
• Creates and maintains documentation for SQA automation tools and frameworks to make them digestible for technical and non-technical individuals
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Minimum Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess the following combination of experience, knowledge, and skills: C#, Java, or object-oriented Python programming skills

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering. Commensurate experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
