Interim Accounting & Finance Manager (Nonprofit) Location: Portland, OR (Hybrid) Type: Interim / Contract Schedule: Minimum 3 days onsite per week Compensation: Up to $55/hour DOE Start Date: ASAP CV Resources is partnering with a respected nonprofit educational organization in Portland seeking an experienced accounting and finance professional to provide interim leadership and hands-on accounting support during a leadership transition. What You'll Be Doing Prepare and present financial information to executive leadership and the Board Support monthly close and financial reporting processes Review payroll and ensure accuracy of related accounting activities Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting operations Monitor cash flow and financial performance Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities Partner with operational leaders across the organization Identify process improvements and strengthen internal controls Provide overall accounting leadership and day-to-day support as needed What We're Looking For 5 years of progressive accounting or finance experience Experience in a Senior Accountant, Accounting Manager, Controller, Director of Finance, or similar role Strong financial reporting and month-end close experience Ability to communicate financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders Hands-on, collaborative approach with a willingness to support a variety of business needs Strong Excel and accounting systems experience Nonprofit, education, or mission-driven organization experience is a plus but not required Why This Opportunity?
