Job Opportunity

This newly created position focuses on implementing and managing the new ERP software within a dynamic logistics environment. The role involves coordinating logistics and warehouse operations to ensure seamless movement of goods from receipt to dispatch.

Responsibilities

  • Assign tasks to warehouse staff, optimize facility storage space, and ensure the smooth flow of goods.
  • Evaluate operations from a systems and scalability standpoint rather than just maintenance.
  • Own the new ERP system (Extensiv) and report directly to the General Manager with reports and KPIs.
  • Coordinate with freight carriers, prepare bills of lading (BOL), and verify shipment accuracy.
  • Oversee cycle counts, track stock levels, and reconcile discrepancies.

Essential Skills

  • Strong experience with warehouse management systems (WMS/SAP/ERP).
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in logistics or warehouse management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Forklift certification is a plus but not required.
  • Prior experience using Extensiv or similar ERP/WMS.
  • Experience in owning or implementing a WMS/ERP software.

Work Environment

Work primarily in an office setting within a 100k sq. ft warehouse in NE Portland, with fluctuating temperatures. The shift is Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm, with some flexibility.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, OR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
