Labor & Employment Litigation Associate Attorney

A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a Labor & Employment Litigation Associate Attorney to join its Portland office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing employers in sophisticated labor and employment litigation, class actions, administrative proceedings, and workplace counseling matters.

Ideal Background

• 2–5 years of labor & employment litigation experience
• Experience handling class action, single-plaintiff, and administrative charge matters preferred
• Experience preparing position statements, evaluating claims, conducting discovery, taking and defending depositions, and drafting motions
• Experience preparing matters for mediation, arbitration, and trial
• Experience researching and analyzing federal, state, and local employment laws
• Experience counseling employers, HR professionals, and business executives on employment law compliance is a plus
• Experience drafting employment agreements, policies, and related employment documents preferred
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
• Excellent writing skills, attention to detail, and strong academic credentials required
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
• Oregon bar admission required or ability to become admitted
