Channel Merchant II

For Global Football merchants, everything begins and ends with the consumer! We are looking for a consumerist with an affinity for product who enjoys the energy of moving at the pace of retail and our consumer. A successful Merchant will contribute to an inclusive, positive, and progressive team dynamic. You'll partner with several cross-functional teams – key enabler of your success will be your background and experience in retail. The role will leverage your skills in collaboration through multi-faceted partnerships with multiple functions and within merchandising across the consumer groups. Strategic visioning, consumer expertise, and the ability to span across multiple seasons paired with influencing a point of view will be critical for these roles.

We are looking for curious, energetic, and coachable merchants who have demonstrated an awareness and understanding of the consumer and the dynamics of the marketplace. We are looking for the individual that shows a passion to learn, make mistakes & grow; leaning into an entrepreneurial spirit and excitement to take on new concepts and ideas.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, Marketing, or equivalent combination of education, experience and training

2+ years of experience in Retail, Merchandising, Product Management, Buying

Demonstrated understanding of consumer and marketplace

Entrepreneurial spirit, experience working on new projects/start-ups/concepts/ideas

Proficiency in analyzing business and consumer trends

Attention to detail

Ability to collaboratively manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities

Effective verbal and written communication skills, including presentations to various cross-functional partners

Team first mentality, energy giver

As a Merchant II, you will support the strategizing, building, and managing of Global Football seasonal assortment and product journeys. A consistent part of your day-to-day responsibilities will be the detailed management, maintenance and communication of all seasonal tools and assortments. Enabling this effort will be the development of key relationships among cross-functional teammates, comfort with research and analysis, along with a genuine curiosity and commitment to learn and evolve.
