The Hotel Manapany is recruiting its future Maître d'hôtel (M/F) to complete its restaurant team for the 2026/2027 season!

CDD to be filled from October 20, 2026.

General Missions

The Maître d'Hôtel is responsible for the welcome and the smooth running of the service in the room. He/she coordinates the entire team of the room, ensures the satisfaction of the customers and guarantees an impeccable quality of service, in accordance with the standards of the establishment. Operational manager, he/she combines exigence, organization, and leadership to offer an optimal customer experience.

General Missions

  • Welcome clients with courtesy and professionalism.
  • Ensure attentive follow-up of each table and ensure satisfaction throughout the meal.
  • Manage any complaints with calm, diplomacy, and efficiency.

Organization and Supervision of Service

  • Supervise the room plan, reservations, and table occupancy.
  • Adapt the welcome and placement according to the type of clientele (VIP, groups, events).
  • Ensure the fluidity of the service, especially during peak activity times.

Coordination with Kitchen and Bar

  • Act as a liaison between the room and the kitchen to ensure coherence of the shipments.
  • Ensure respect for service times and good communication with the chef.
  • Collaborate with bar, reception, or event services as needed.

Management and Training

  • Supervise, train, and develop the room team.
  • Integrate new employees and ensure their good adaptation.
  • Motivate teams to maintain a high level of exigence and involvement.
  • Ensure that grooming is respected.

Back-office Tasks and Operational Follow-up

  • Respond to client emails, internal requests, and follow-up on specific reservations.
  • Update and put into service menus, cards, and client supports (digital or printed).
  • Participate in the follow-up of restaurant costs (F&B costs, management of ratios, follow-up of sales).
  • Update internal procedures (service sheets, checklists, standards).
  • Provide support on various management supports or reporting to management.
  • Be a force of proposal on the optimization of service, tools, organization, or customer experience.

Interservice Communication

  • Ensure fluid and continuous communication between services (kitchen, bar, reception, reservations, events, technical…).
  • Anticipate specific needs in relation to other departments.
  • Circulate essential information in advance and in real time to guarantee the cohesion of the customer experience.
  • Participate in coordination meetings and report needs or feedback from the field to management.

Profile Sought

  • Significant experience in room service, ideally in a high-end establishment
  • Excellent presentation and impeccable customer service sense
  • Leadership and ability to supervise a team of waiters and assistants
  • Sense of organization and rigor in the coordination of service
  • Very good communication, warm and discreet relationship
  • Knowledge of service techniques, food-wine pairings, and standards of food hygiene and safety
  • Ability to manage stress and periods of high activity

Contribution of employees 3% per month
