Product excellence and uncompromising quality are our top priorities.BenefitsAffordable health and dental insuranceA strong commitment to training and professional development, including an internal skills development program for all manufacturing team membersA generous tuition reimbursement programCompany contributions up to 8% of base pay into a 401(k) retirement accountProfit sharingGreat product discounts (to name a few)Job responsibilitiesDepending on assignment the person in this role will conduct audits, provide results and the status of corrective actions, provide training and assistance to operators with regard to quality tools and processes, perform product evaluation testing and be an active participant in continuous improvement activities on cross‑functional teams.Assist Quality Engineering in developing assembly process and product audit plansConduct assembly process and product audits; provide on‑the‑spot feedback and training to operatorsAssist in Business Process AuditsCreate records of audit results, findings and status reports of corrective actionsAdhere to audit schedules and notify stakeholders of any changes or updatesRespond to operators who need help using test methods or confirming measurementsPerform set‑up and operation of complex test equipment and softwareSupport QEs with performance test results, including pre‑ and post‑condition evaluation reportsParticipate in problem solving and continuous improvement activitiesFollow written procedures and work instructionsAny other duties as assigned by the manager or supervisorRequired skills and experienceHigh school diploma or GED requiredAssociate's degree in a technical field or 2 years technical training and 2 years related experience in any of the following areas: machine shop, mechanical assembly, optical assembly, and/or optical systems and components required.
