Delivery Driver / Material Handler

In this Delivery Driver / Material Handler position, you'll spend approximately 30% of your day making local deliveries and the remaining time supporting inventory, shipping, material handling, and production operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and wants to play an important role in keeping manufacturing running smoothly.

Job Duties

• Complete daily local pickup and delivery routes throughout the Portland Metro area using a box truck, loading and unloading your own truck
• Support inventory by completing cycle counts, matching parts to invoices and delivery manifests, and entering inventory information into the computer system
• Prepare orders by packaging, staging, and loading parts for shipment while maintaining accurate documentation
• Move materials throughout the facility using a forklift to support assemblers and production teams
• Assist with shipping, receiving, inventory, and general production support to help keep manufacturing running smoothly

Schedule

Friday – Sunday, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM

Pay

$23.92/hour not including weekend shift differential

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• 2 years of experience driving a box truck making local deliveries
• 1 year of warehouse, inventory, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing experience
• Mechanically inclined with strong attention to detail and a safety-first mindset
• Proficient in following written and verbal instructions and comfortable using a computer for data entry
