Driver Check-In Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and communicative individual to manage the check-in process for drivers at our warehouse. This role involves coordinating driver arrivals, providing instructions, and facilitating effective communication between drivers and the warehouse team.

Responsibilities

  • Check in drivers upon arrival and provide instructions on where to park and which bays to use.
  • Take calls from drivers and guide them to the facility.
  • Update the system with completed orders and ensure accurate data entry.
  • Communicate with the warehouse crew regarding work orders and deliveries.
  • Schedule appointments and deliveries at the warehouse and clients' locations.

Essential Skills

  • Proficient in data entry and clerical tasks.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Experience with scheduling drivers and managing inventory.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with clerical, data, and document control.
  • Ability to navigate internal inventory systems and Outlook simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to handle challenging interactions with drivers.

This role is based in the warm section of a cold storage warehouse. The office environment is designed to be comfortable, providing a warm workspace within the facility.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, OR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
