Job Opportunity – Sterile Processing Technician – Portland, OR 97213

Start Date: August 10, 2026

Location: Portland, Oregon

Schedule: Night shift 5x8-hour (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM) or Day shift 5x8-hour (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM). No on-call required. Weekends not required. 13-week assignment (91 days).

Highlights:

• Work at a 418-bed short-term acute care facility with 21 operating rooms
• Robotics instrumentation experience greatly preferred, including Da Vinci systems (Xi, SP, and standard platforms)
• Opportunity to work with diverse surgical specialties including orthopedics, urology, ENT, OB/GYN, plastics, vascular, and transplant
• Epic charting system utilized throughout the facility
• Free parking provided for all staff
• 40 hours of orientation to support your transition

Requirements:

• Active Oregon state license (may submit with pending license)
• CBSPD or IAHCSMM/HSPA certification required
• Minimum 1 year of sterile processing experience required
• Experience with Sterile Processing Microsystem (SPM) and robotics instrumentation strongly preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Proficiency in high-level disinfection, steam sterilization, case cart preparation, and equipment documentation
• Knowledge of loaner/consignment trays, implants, and various sterilization monitoring systems (biological and chemical indicators)
• Must have reliable transportation for this assignment
• Two professional references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years
