Temporary Medical Receptionist

Pay: $22.00-$25.00/hour DOE
Location: Portland, OR
Duration: Temporary Assignment (Several Days to Several Weeks)
Start Date: ASAP

Our client, a busy specialty medical clinic, is seeking a Temporary Medical Receptionist to provide immediate front desk support. This is a great opportunity for someone with medical office experience who can quickly step into a patient-facing role.
Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients
• Verify and copy insurance cards and identification
• Schedule and confirm appointments
• Answer and route incoming calls
• Transfer clinical calls to nurses or triage staff as needed
• Update patient information in the EHR system
• Scan and manage patient documentation
• Support daily front office operations

Qualifications

• Previous medical receptionist, healthcare front desk, or medical office experience
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR); Practice Fusion is a plus
• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a busy clinic environment
• Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented

Preferred Experience

Experience in orthopedics, podiatry, physical therapy, or another specialty clinic is preferred, but candidates with general medical office experience are welcome to apply.
