Under direct supervision, Maintenance Technician I performs unskilled maintenance work in the daily and preventive care, repair, and maintenance of building systems and equipment; performs plumbing, electrical, roofing, flooring, masonry, painting, mechanical, and carpentry work. This is an entry-level position which serves as apprentice for Maintenance Technicians Level II. As a representative and team member of environmental services department, this position is expected to present oneself in a manner that reflects professionalism and ensures resident satisfaction. Part -Time position: 20 hours per week, variable schedule including some weekends Pay Range: $17 Depending on Experience A day in the life might include: Perform assigned maintenance duties and routine preventive maintenance. Identify deficiencies and follow procedure for correcting problems may be on call in case of an emergency To be successful in the role, you would have: 1 years of previous experience in building maintenance or construction, or any equivalent combination of training and experience Certification, license or equivalent as required under state and/or local regulation to operate or repair certain equipment in a technical field such as HVAC, building trades or building utilities program preferred High school diploma or equivalent Current & valid Drivers' License and driving record free of major infractions What's in it for you?
