Fulfillment / Quality Specialist The Fulfillment / Quality Specialist is responsible for end-to-end order fulfillment while ensuring all products meet established quality standards prior to shipment. This role combines picking, packing, and shipping responsibilities with quality inspection, compliance, and continuous improvement support to ensure accuracy, product integrity, and customer satisfaction.Essential Job Functions:Every effort has been made to identify the essential functions of this position. The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to:Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders according to work ordersVerify item accuracy, quantities, and customer-specific packaging requirementsPrepare shipments using appropriate materials to ensure safe transitLabel, stage, and coordinate outgoing shipments (UPS, FedEx, LTL, freight carriers)Maintain shipping documentation and ensure timely order processingAssist with inventory control, including cycle counts and stock verificationPerform in-process and final inspections of products prior to shipmentVerify packaging meets customer specifications and internal quality standardsIdentify, document, and segregate nonconforming materials or finished goodsEnsure proper labeling, traceability, and documentation accuracyReport quality issues and collaborate on corrective actionsSupport root cause investigations related to defects, damages, or customer complaintsMaintain compliance with quality systems (e.g., ISO standards, if applicable)Follow all company policies, SOPs, and safety proceduresProvide general administrative support to leadership as neededPerform other related duties as assignedQualifications, Education & Experience:High school diploma or equivalent required13 years of experience in fulfillment, warehouse, or manufacturing environmentExperience with quality inspection or quality control processes preferredFamiliarity with shipping systems, ERP (NetSuite), or warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plusBasic math, reading, and computer skillsStrong time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and multitaskBilingual (Spanish) preferredWork Environment and Safety Equipment Required:While performing the duties of this job, the employee will frequently sit, walk, stand, bend, stoop, and utilize hand and finger dexterity to perform work. The employee will move throughout the warehouse in order to manage/conduct inventory. The employee is required to reach with hands and arms, smell, talk and hear. The employee will lift, push, pull or move up to fifty (50) pounds or more with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the office work environment is usually quiet. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The noise level in a light industrial environment is usually moderate to loud. The overall work environment is a general manufacturing plant environment with Material Handling Equipment and machinery operations.
