Warehouse Attendant

We are seeking a Warehouse Attendant for an on-site 6-month contract (high possibility of extending or converting to an FTE) in Portland, OR. This role supports telecommunications network supply chain operation and is responsible for warehouse organization, inventory management, material staging, shipping and receiving, and coordination of network materials for field technicians and contractors. Must be able to pass background and drug test. Must be US Citizen or Green Card holder. Pay Range: $23.50-26.50/hr. W2 Contract.

Responsibilities include:

• Receiving, verifying, and processing incoming materials
• Organizing warehouse and storeroom inventory
• Consolidating and staging materials for network and construction projects
• Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, lift gates, and other material handling equipment
• Processing goods receipts and inventory transactions in SAP
• Coordinating material pickups and deliveries
• Identifying and resolving shipping discrepancies, shortages, overages, and damaged materials
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
• Providing support to technicians, contractors, and other warehouse personnel as needed

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of warehouse, inventory, logistics, and/or materials management experience
• Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment
• Ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs.
• Experience with SAP, inventory systems, or material tracking software preferred
• Knowledge of cable, fiber optic, telecommunications, utility, or construction materials preferred
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
• Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle
• Strong computer skills, including spreadsheets, email, and data entry
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
