Medical Director, Hospital Medicine – Lead a Dynamic, Collaborative Team in the Pacific Northwest

Local Team Collaboration:

• Lead a team of 25 physicians and 7 advanced practice providers (APPs)
• Work alongside associate medical directors, clinical performance nurses, program manager & coordinator.

Qualifications:

• Internal Medicine or Family Medicine trained physicians welcome to apply.
• Minimum of 2 years formal hospital-based leadership experience required.

Flexible Scheduling:

• This role offers a balanced blend of clinical responsibilities and dedicated administrative time to support both patient care and leadership or program development efforts.
• 3 clinical shifts a month; admin salary + medical director stipend; Compensation over $385K + incentives

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality, comprehensive medical care
• Our hospital has a closed ICU during the day with 24/7 intensivist support, and we don't require procedures or codes.
• Provide clinical oversight for the team while building strong relationships with our hospital partner leadership

The Community:

• About 90 miles north of Seattle and 55 miles south of Vancouver, British Columbia.
• Nearby attractions: Close to the North Cascades and Mount Baker, known for skiing, hiking, and scenic drives.
• It's along Interstate 5, the main highway connecting Seattle to Vancouver.
• Served by International Airport which offers regional and some international flights.
