PackagerThe Packager plays a key role in preparing finished products for shipment and storage by carefully packaging, labeling, and handling materials in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow detailed instructions and work orders, and a commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work area while working both independently and as part of a team.ResponsibilitiesPackage final products accurately and securely in preparation for shipment and storage.Read and comprehend detailed instructions and work orders to ensure correct packaging and labeling.Perform labeling and basic assembly tasks as part of the packaging process.Lift, move, and position products and pallets, including items weighing up to 50 pounds.Move throughout the facility and stand for extended periods as required by production needs.Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly, and safe condition at all times.Follow all prescribed safety regulations and standard operating procedures.Stay actively engaged by seeking the next task when a project is completed, rather than waiting for direction.Collaborate effectively with team members while also being able to work independently when needed.Perform other related duties as assigned to support production and packaging operations.Essential Skills12 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.Proven ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds safely and consistently.Ability to read and comprehend detailed instructions and work orders.Capability to move around the facility and stand for an entire shift when necessary.Strong manual dexterity to handle packaging, assembly, and labeling tasks efficiently.High attention to detail to ensure accurate packaging, labeling, and product handling.Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment.Commitment to maintaining a clean, organized work area and equipment.Ability to follow prescribed safety regulations and company procedures.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with packaging processes in a production or manufacturing setting.Experience in assembly and production work.Demonstrated reliability and strong work ethic in a structured, fast-paced environment.Comfort working both as part of a team and independently.Willingness to work additional hours or shifts when required to meet production demands.Openness to learning new tasks and adapting to changing production needs.This opportunity offers a stable role in a structured, team-oriented manufacturing environment where your attention to detail and strong work ethic are valued.
