Shipping/Receiving Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Shipping/Receiving team member to join their team. As a Shipping/Receiving professional, you will be part of the logistics department supporting the overall material flow and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach which will align successfully in the organization.Location: Milwaukie, ORPay Rate: $20.75/hourShift: Monday - Friday; 7:00AM - 3:30PMWhat's the Job? Ensure material flow for assembly cells, WIP markets, and machining cells across the plant.Replenish parts in workstations using a tugger cart and deliver materials to the proper inventory locations.Follow all standard operating procedures and safety programs, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).Inspect equipment and escalate safety issues to supervisors as necessary.Participate in Continuous Improvement activities and identify opportunities to enhance processes.What's Needed? High school/GED completion.Previous receiving experience is preferred.Knowledge of proper use of pallet jacks, forklifts, and hoists (training/certification available).Ability to understand and follow written and oral procedures/instructions.Excellent critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.What's in it for me?
