Description:

Medical Device Manufacturing Operator

We are seeking detail-oriented Medical Device Manufacturing Operators to join a highly regulated manufacturing environment. In this role, you will manufacture high-quality medical devices, including pacemakers, implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs), leads, and related assemblies. You will perform precision assembly, testing, inspection, and repair activities while following detailed procedures and strict quality requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with manufacturing, medical-device, electronics, cleanroom, precision assembly, or other hands-on production experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, test, inspect, and repair medical device components and assemblies according to established procedures.
  • Follow detailed SOPs, work instructions, verbal instructions, and safety requirements.
  • Work with small components and parts requiring strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Maintain accurate production, quality, and traceability documentation.
  • Use electronic data collection systems and computer software to record production information.
  • Identify and communicate production, quality, and process issues to supervisors and manufacturing management.
  • Participate in Lean Manufacturing and continuous-improvement initiatives.
  • Support production goals, quality metrics, and cell performance objectives.
  • Follow all applicable Quality Management System (QMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain a professional and positive attitude when interacting with coworkers, management, customers, and visitors.

Manufacturing Environment:

Because this position involves production of medical devices, employees must follow strict cleanliness, gowning, contamination-control, safety, and personal-protective-equipment requirements. Production-area clothing must be clean, non-shedding, and free of loose threads, frayed hems, glitter, sequins, tassels, or other materials that could contaminate the manufacturing environment. Employees must wear appropriate closed-toe, closed-heel footwear and comply with requirements related to clothing, jewelry, cosmetics, nail coverings, personal products, and other contamination-control standards.
