Warehouse WorkerIf you're looking for a job ASAP and you have Warehouse experience then this is the position for you!The Warehouse Worker coordinates and expedites the flow of work and materials within and between departments according to the production schedule. This role reviews and distributes production work and shipment schedules, collaborates with department leaders to monitor progress, and ensures timely completion of jobs. The position focuses on material handling, inventory control, and expediting key jobs to support a high-tech manufacturing environment.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and expedite the flow of materials and jobs on the manufacturing floor to meet production schedules.Review and distribute production work and shipment schedules to appropriate departments.Collaborate with production managers to identify issues or constraints and communicate their impact to relevant parties.Track expedited and key jobs to ensure they remain on schedule, and develop solutions to realign jobs that are behind.Analyze potential expedited requests and assess their impact on existing production schedules.Act as a liaison between project management, sales, and production teams to ensure clear communication and alignment.Perform inventory control activities, including cycle counts and warehouse inventory management.Handle materials safely and efficiently, including operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.Support semiconductor-related manufacturing operations through accurate material flow and handling.Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and material transactions.Follow established safety practices and procedures in all warehouse and manufacturing areas.Perform other related duties as assigned to support production and warehouse operations.Essential SkillsTwo to three years of experience working in a manufacturing, industrial machining, or fabrication assembly environment with metal or plastic.Demonstrated ability to work as part of a tight-knit and competent team.Strong commitment to achieving shared objectives and contributing to the organization's mission.Understanding of effective teamwork dynamics to attain higher levels of performance.Willingness to accept responsibility and accountability for assigned tasks.Ability to collaborate with teams built from multiple departments across the organization.Ability to balance organizational needs with customer requirements.Goal-directed thinking and action in situations where no routine solutions exist.Ability to analyze information, scrutinize facts, and identify strengths and weaknesses.Effective two-way communication skills, including clear speaking, attentive listening, and appropriate response to verbal and nonverbal cues.Strong interest in personal learning and development, including seeking feedback and adjusting behavior based on insights.Ability to anticipate changes in work demands and participate in assignments or training to address evolving requirements.Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.Ability to work well under pressure and consistently meet deadlines.Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple tasks and priorities.Proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with individuals at all levels and disciplines.Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles in a low-volume manufacturing environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with inventory control processes, including cycle counts and warehouse inventory management.Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.Worked in semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing environments.Ability to engage effectively with cross-functional teams, including project management, sales, and production.Strong problem-solving skills to realign off-schedule jobs and optimize material flow.Demonstrated adaptability in handling unexpected circumstances as opportunities to learn and improve.Why Work Here?This opportunity offers the chance to work in a high-tech, clean, and well-structured environment that values teamwork, continuous learning, and personal development. Team members conform to all gowning procedures and present a professional image in accordance with company appearance standards. The manufacturing area may include some noise and plastic chips, and safety glasses are recommended outside designated safety corridors. Hearing protection is recommended in the vicinity of machinery, and adherence to all safety practices and procedures is required. The position involves standing at a workstation for the designated shift and the ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds. Work is performed in a structured, safety-conscious setting that supports high-tech manufacturing operations.Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tigard, OR.Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
