This position is key to company quality standards.Essential Duties and Responsibilities De-trash boxes of receiving materials.Verify packaging and paperwork regarding the count, AVL/AML, part number, shelf life, traceability, and other requirements of received materials.Receive materials in system and track inventory by performing computer transactions.Print required labels and paperwork for materials.Move materials to inspection or stock holding areas.Create Receiving Discrepancy Reports to notify the purchasing department of incongruent materials received.Work with purchasing, engineering, or quality departments to receive materials once discrepancies are resolvedContribute to a positive team working environment.Maintain a clean and organized area.Drive continuous improvement by looking for opportunities for improvement and working projects, small and large, to successful completion resulting in improved performance and profits.Ability to work independently with little supervision.Treat everyone at Vanguard, its vendors and customers with dignity, respect and professionalism at all times.Other Duties Cross-train and assist in other areas as needed, including the stockroom, cycle counting, and shipping supportPerforms other duties as assigned.Supervisory Responsibilities NoneEducation and/or Experience High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent
