C&S has immediate openings for part-time Dispatch Operators in Jefferson City.Salary/shifts for Dispatch Operators: $18.03/hr.; 3 weekend shifts available: (Saturdays & Sundays 8 a.m.-4 p.m., 12-8 a.m. or 4 p.m.-12 a.m.)Responsibilities: Answer non-911 emergency and non-emergency phone callsGather information from callers and enter it into the computer-aided dispatch (CAD) systemNotify and communicate with law enforcement personnel when assistance is neededMonitor security cameras, alarms, radio channels and other notification systemsWatch for unusual or concerning activity and report it to law enforcementMaintain accurate records of calls and incidentsWork with multiple computer screens, phones and systemsCommunicate clearly and professionally with officers, staff and the publicHandle multiple tasks while staying organized and focusedHigh School Diploma, GED/HiSETComfortable using computers and learning new softwareGood communication and listening skillsAbility to multitask and pay attention to detailAbility to remain calm and make good decisions when situations ariseBasic knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel preferredTyping speed of approximately 35–40 WPM preferredMust be able to pass a background check and drug screeningApply online and/or at 1731 Southridge Drive, Jefferson City.111026#BB PandoLogic.
