Job TitleStarting pay is $24.35 per hour Schedule is Monday - Friday 2:00am - FinishReceives, stores, and distributes material and products within establishments. Essential Duties:Reads receiving scheduleSorts and places materials on docks according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product codeSorts goods according to temperature zonesMarks materials with identifying informationRecords amounts of materials or items received or distributedCommunicates with purchasing departmentTo operate forklift and pallet jackCommunicate with lumper, driver on unloading proceduresWeighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standardsUses computer to enter recordsRegular and reliable attendanceOther duties as assignedQualifications:High school diploma or GED preferred; and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Physical Demands:Required stand; reach and handle objects, tools, or controls; and communicate when necessary to complete duties.Frequently walk.Occasionally sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.Regularly lift and/or move up to 60 poundsOccasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by this job include the ability to observe surroundings, packages, and labels at both close and far distancesCorporate Summary: At Shamrock Foods Company, people come first – our associates, our customers, and the families we serve across the nation.
