Shipping & Receiving Clerk

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support daily warehouse and logistics operations. This role is responsible for receiving incoming shipments, preparing outgoing orders, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring materials are handled safely and efficiently.

Shipping & Receiving Clerk Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $ 21.50 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 05:00am to 01:00pm)

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and condition.
• Prepare, pack, label, and document outgoing shipments.
• Load and unload delivery trucks safely and efficiently.
• Record shipment details, inventory updates, returns, damages, and discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records in company systems.
• Coordinate with drivers, carriers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely movement of materials.
• Follow company procedures, safety guidelines, and documentation requirements.
• Keep the shipping and receiving area clean, organized, and compliant with workplace standards.

Shipping & Receiving Clerk Qualifications:

• 1 years of general office, warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience preferred.
• Previous experience in a shipping and receiving department is a plus.
• Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with SAP or other inventory systems preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well with team members, drivers, and vendors.
