Job Title: Shipping and Receiving SpecialistJob Description

Join a local metals manufacturer supporting the automotive and trucking industry as a Shipping and Receiving Specialist. Your role will involve managing shipping and receiving processes to ensure efficient operations.

• Receive materials coming in by truck, ensuring accurate documentation and timely processing.
• Stock products in designated areas and maintain organized inventory.
• Count inventory and update records using the computer system.
• Operate a sit-down forklift to unload trucks and move products safely.
• Assist with packing and loading trucks for shipment.

• Experience working in shipping and receiving or distribution.
• Proficiency in unloading trucks using a forklift.
• Competence in using computers; experience with ERP systems is a plus.

• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.

This stable manufacturing company, established in Oregon in 1966, offers a great work culture with a casual and easy-going environment. Employees are treated with respect, and a full benefits package is provided.

Work in a clean, lighter industrial production environment with 70-100 employees making aluminum parts. The day shift runs from 6am to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday. The environment includes machinery, which can be loud in some areas, and requires wearing PPE such as steel-toed boots, safety glasses, and ear plugs.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clackamas, OR.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
