Job Description

The role involves using drawings and blueprints to assemble complex structures, including support components and sub-assemblies, primarily for construction projects such as structures, railings, cables, and framing.

Responsibilities

• Utilize drawings and blueprints to accurately assemble complex structures and support components.
• Work with power tools and hand tools to construct sub-assemblies.
• Assist in construction projects, focusing on structures, railings, cables, and framing.
• Ensure assemblies are made correctly by reading and interpreting drawings or blueprints.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in reading drawings and blueprints.
• Experience with tape measures, power tools, and hand tools.
• Ability to use drills and saws.
• Woodworking skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience as a shop helper.

Work Environment

The company operates in a back shop environment, exposed to the elements, which can be cold in the winter and hot in the summer. It is a manufacturing company producing a wide range of products including park benches, playground equipment, fitness equipment, slides, and trash cans, serving clients nationally.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vancouver, WA.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
