The Youth Employment Services Coordinator position supports Home Forward's strategic and operational objectives in the following way: In partnership with WorkSystems,Inc and NextGen, facilitates access to youth focused workforce preparation, training and employment services. Successfully implement all required program measures; participate in continuous quality improvement efforts in collaboration with WorkSystems and NextGen partners. Perform outreach and recruitment activities to Home Forward participants that meet the eligibility requirements; conduct objective assessments of potential program participants; prioritize enrollment of youth who indicate an interest in training for occupations in one of the four target industry sectors; and to provide ongoing career coaching, counseling and engagement services to participants as they engage in NextGen services including but not limited to: regular in-person check-ins, working collaboratively with the participant to update his or her career plan and providing connection to additional support services.
In this context, the incumbent in this position will collaborate with others at all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders in the consideration of significant goals, concepts, initiatives, and other activities that profoundly affect Home Forward, its employees, and the people that it serves.
This position is a full-time limited duration position. Additional full years' funding will be contracted through 6/30/2022, based on available funds and performance.

Education & Experience Guidelines
Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
Equivalent to a High School Diploma.
Three years of increasingly responsible experience in the social work or social services with an emphasis in direct client work with individuals and/or families, case coordination, and program development. Alternative education and experience qualifications welcome.
License or Certificate:
Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid driver's license.
