The Property Management Training and Onboarding Coordinator position supports Home Forward's strategic and operational objectives in the following way: plans, develops, coordinates, implements, delivers and provides oversight for department training and employee development activities; trains newly hired and promoted staff and provides support to supervisors for onboarding activities; designs and develops original training and/or directs the work of consultants hired to provide department training; facilitates staff work group(s) to develop procedures to support staff operations; develops and maintains forms/checklists that aid staff's day-to-day work; collaborates with key staff to assure that department training and onboarding needs are met; and updates, creates and maintains procedures in Property Management's Operating Procedures Manual. In this context, the incumbent in this position will collaborate with others at all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders in the consideration of significant goals, concepts, initiatives, and other activities that profoundly affect Home Forward, its employees, and the people that it serves.
This position will primarily be stationed at Hollywood East in NE Portland located at:
4400 NE Broadway St.
Portland, OR 97213
Please note: the Training and Onboarding Coordinator will be required to visit and work at all sites throughout Multnomah County.

Education & Experience Guidelines
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE GUIDELINES
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
Equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in instructional design, education, psychology, business administration, public administration or a related field.
Three years of increasingly responsible experience assessing and managing, coordinating and delivering a variety of employer-based training programs. Three years of increasingly responsible experience working in the property management field preferred, but not required.
License or Certificate
Possession of a valid Driver License.
