Welcome to Movemaker Northwest! We are a labor-only moving company that offers quality service to our clients. We are currently looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Leads and Crew members.

We are looking for individuals who are physically fit and able to lift 80+ lbs repeatedly and 120+ lbs with assistance and equipment. We need people who are punctual, polite, and able to follow instructions while keeping a positive attitude. If you have previous moving experience, that's great, but we are also happy to train the right people who are ready and willing to grow with us!

As a Lead, you will be responsible for leading your crew through the completion of each job. You will assess the workload and the path from the items to the loading area and execute the plan while keeping track of the available time. You will be the point of contact with the client, fielding all client questions and communicating with Management if any issues arise. You will also be responsible for supervising your crew, taking charge when navigating objects through tight spaces, and generally ensuring the safety of the crew, client's belongings, and home.

At Movemaker Northwest, we promote internally, and all Leads are under consideration and review for suitability for promotion to Manager (and beyond) as of their first day onsite. We are looking for individuals who have reliable transportation and are willing to carpool with their crew members to the job(s) for the day.

We understand that the number of bookings on a given day is subject to change, and hours do not currently have a set daily minimum. However, we currently have multiple bookings almost every day, typically averaging around 6-8 hours of work. We also offer .25/mile gas compensation. As we are developing our market share, we will need some flexibility from our staff in these early days, but those who grow with us see themselves well rewarded. This position will start out part-time and for those who are able and willing, ramp up to full-time.

Our promise is transparency, and we will continually better the experience of working for us. Every time we raise our prices, we increase our wages. Within a year, we predict no Lead will be making less than $24/hour. Let's grow together!
